Tamraght · 5-10 min of Taghazout · Morocco
Salt House Morocco is a modern surf camp located in Tamraght, the village that lies south of Taghazout. It features a contemporary, homey atmosphere, a rooftop, healthy cuisine, and lessons taught by ISA-certified instructors. The camp caters to surfers seeking a comfortable, unique experience without the feel of a generic resort. Beginners, intermediate, and advanced surfers will find their spot among Banana Beach, Devil’s Rock, and Anchor Point, all accessible in under 10 minutes.
Salt House Morocco was conceived as a designer home, not as a hotel. The rooms are simple but well-appointed, the common areas are spacious, and the team remains small and personal. 26 surfers maximum.
Four full-time instructors, certified by the ISA (International Surfing Association), with a 1:6 student-to-instructor ratio in the water. A skill assessment is held on the first morning at Banana Beach, followed by group assignments. Beginners spend the week on the laid-back beaches of Tamraght and Imourane; intermediate surfers alternate between Devil’s Rock and Panoramas; and advanced surfers hit Anchor Point, Killer, and Boilers depending on the swell.
Analysis video twice a week with the drone for experienced users, tide chart briefing on tides every morning.
2 Double, 2 Twin, 2 Triple, 2 Shared Dorms — 8 rooms total. Wi-Fi that works well, air conditioning in the summer, heating in the winter. Rooftop with sofas for the end of the day.
Healthy Moroccan cuisine with vegetarian options at every meal. A breakfast buffet featuring fresh bread and msemen, a hot lunch after the morning session, and dinner every day exept sunday (on the other evenings, you can try the local eateries in the village or in Taghazout, a 40-minute taxi ride away).
A balanced international mix, ages 25–45, with an equal number of women and men. Many first-time visitors to Morocco, including couples and solo female surfers. A relaxed atmosphere, no late nights, but a lively vibe at dinner.
Yoga is included regardless of the package you choose. Great for unwinding after a surf session.

Yes, all skill levels are welcome. The first day takes place at Banana Beach with softboards, calm waters, and great instruction. You’ll make rapid progress over 6 days.
Starting at €455–510 per week. All-inclusive rate: accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinners, 10 hours of lessons, equipment. Agadir airport transfers are included for stays of one week or longer.
Direct flight to Agadir (3 hours from Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux). Tamraght is 40 minutes from the airport. Salt House transfer round-trip upon request.
Tamraght is quieter, more family-friendly, and offers better access to Anchor Point (the top spot). Taghazout is livelier, with more bars and restaurants, but more crowded in the water. Tamraght is the better choice for those coming to surf.
Yes, that’s common. You’ll share a room, but each of you will surf in your own skill-level group. There’s no extra charge.
