Surfing in Tamraght: everything you need for your Morocco trip

Why choose Tamraght over Taghazout?

The authentic feel of a small Berber village

Taghazout is a charming chaos, but often noisy. In Tamraght, the mood changes completely: it is the “quiet sister” where life slows down. No constant commercial bustle here, just a relaxed atmosphere that calms you down right after your session.

The village stretches peacefully between the hills and the ocean. Amazigh culture is still strong and locals welcome you with a rare sincerity, not yet diluted by mass tourism.

You feel like you are in a real, living village. It is the perfect place to truly switch off.

Tamraght or Taghazout? The two villages are 15 to 20 minutes apart by taxi: you can sleep in peace in Tamraght and go surf the northern points when the swell picks up. If you are looking for an isolated village with a very long wave, read our comparison Taghazout or Imsouane.
